Jordan 4 'Industrial Blue' Shoe Review

By Swaggy Shoes

The Jordan 4 'Industrial Blue' was released on May 4th, 2024, at a retail price of $215. I personally bought a pair through the SNKRS app. It is rumored that approximately 850,000 pairs were released, surpassing any other Jordan 4 release this year. Because of the high numbers, this release was relatively easy to secure, and for those who missed out, the resale price remains reasonable, currently ranging from around $220 to $260.

This model draws inspiration from the original Jordan 4 'Military Blue', designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1989 alongside three other iconic colorways: the Jordan 4 'Fire Red', 'White Cement', and 'Bred'. The 'Military Blue' is the second original Jordan 4 to be retroed this year, following the Jordan 4 'Bred', making 2024 an exciting year for Jordan 4 enthusiasts and sneaker lovers.

After purchasing the Jordan 4 'Military Blue', I was happy with the prompt shipping, which took about one week. The shoes arrived in the standard Jordan 4 box, which was somewhat disappointing to me personally, as I prefer when Nike matches the box colors to the shoe. However, I understand that this design choice was made to remain faithful to the original 1989 release, which also came in the same black and red box. The shoes include an orange Nike Air hang tag that must be cut off to be removed. I was very satisfied with the shoes themselves, which arrived without any factory defects or quality control issues, a problem that has affected many others who bought this shoe.

In my opinion, the Jordan 4 is one of the greatest shoe silhouettes of all time, and this OG colorway is among the best releases of the year and one of my personal favorites. I am thrilled to have acquired and to be able to wear this iconic piece of sneaker history. The Jordan 4 'Military Blue' is a fantastic addition to any sneaker collection, particularly for those seeking a versatile and stylish shoe that enhances any outfit. It is also an excellent choice for Jordan 4 enthusiasts who want a swaggy sneaker without the high cost.
